Robert studied at Northbrook College in Performance and Acting and in workshop and intensive trainings across Europe at the École Philippe Gaulier, Grotowski Institute and the companies David Glass Ensemble, Spymonkey and Told-By-An-Idiot.  He has also led workshops in devised theatre at the Brighton MET College and University, and for 2 years has facilitated drama for children with Thirdspace Theatre in Brighton and Lewes.

Split Hairs is a Brighton-based collective creating new theatre and physical comedy (www.instagram.com/splithairstheatre/).

They are developing the production of a children’s show called 'The Sewage', which they have been performing over the last couple of years, including at the Brighton Fringe where it sold out and received a 5-star review from Voice Mag (see www.voicemag.uk/review/12580/review-the-sewage) and FringeReview described it as a 'Must See' show (see http://fringereview.co.uk/review/brighton-fringe/2023/the-sewage/).

Here is a trailer for the show, which is about sibling rivalry and is performed in a Bouffon clown style, involving no spoken language and also incorporating elements of Visual Vernacular - a form of sign language that incorporates visual elements and gestures to convey meaning: https://youtu.be/vak1HKlrjss?si=9bjS-g4Ai-j-oohd (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)
