About the event
How will it work?
You must have signed up for the event to participate in the clothes swap by filling in this registration form.
Once you've signed up you can drop off your clothes at one of the clothes drop-off points before the event in exchange for tokens. You can then use the tokens at the clothes swap on Monday to choose your (stylish) new clothes!
How much should I donate?
This is a 'pay what you can' event, with the suggested amount if you can pay being £5, to go to Esteem funds. but we ask people to only donate what they can.
Feeling generous? If you pay £10 for a ticket that would cover the cost for someone else to attend the event for free, or warm meal for five local young adults.
Clothes drop-off points will be:
- 24th May, Friday afternoon from 2:30-3:30pm at ESTEEM, The Old School House, Ham Road, BN43 6PA (https://esteem.org.uk/contact-us/)
- 25th May, Saturday (from 10:30am - 4:30pm at REclaim Weekend on Coronation Green, BN43 5DD
- 27th May, Monday morning from 10:00-11:00am at ESTEEM, The Old School House, Ham Road, BN43 6PA (https://esteem.org.uk/contact-us/ )
The clothes swap will happen on

What clothes will be accepted?
Up to 5 items of clothing per person will be accepted. Each item you donate you can exchange for another item at the swap.
Accessories will also be accepted. Larger accessories (such as bags or hats) will be exchanged for tokens.
All clothes must be washed. The following will not be accepted: clothes that are stained, heavily damaged or have any offensive graphics.
Children's clothes will be accepted but there may be limited children's stock to exchange.
What to expect at the clothes swap?
It will be a fun and relaxed atmosphere, with lots of friendly faces around. There will also be home baked goods and a selection of cold and warm drinks available for a small donation.
