About the event
Do you know own a sewing machine but don't feel very confident in using it? Lose the fear of your sewing machine with Debra's help!
The session covers at least machine threading, straight stitch, zig zag stitch and simple dos and don'ts and whatever else is requested and time allows. You will take home a sample stitch piece.
You can bring your own machine along or use one of ours. All materials and hot drink are provided but feel free to bring along something you want to practise on.
You can book a place for one adult (16+) or one adult and child pair. This is a 'pay what you can' event. For those who can pay, the suggested amount is £15 per place.
Part of the REfashion strand of the REclaim festival of community, creativity and sustainability, kindly supported by The Rampion Community Benefit Fund at Sussex Community Foundation and the Coop Local Community Fund.
